Happy Birthday Daddy (by Ella)

Yup- it's my Daddy's Birthday today. What everyone is failing to realize is it is my Birthday too. Ugh- adults. I'm sure everyone reading this knows what a Birthday means to by Dad... GOLF and lots of it. So after playing golf, this is Daddy watching golf. GPS made Daddy whatever he wanted for dinner which was Chicken Kiev. Yummy! And of course, candles on a cake. Again- I had to remind them it was MY Birthday too and therefore they had to sing Happy Birthday to ME. Ugh- adults.

Below is a picture of me being funny. Who do you think I get this humor from? Before I sign off, just remember, if it's your Birthday, it's my Birthday too!

It all started with Ms. Mary

If it weren't for Mary, my Mom and Dad would never have met. She is responsible for my Mom's first job at UVA and without that job, my Mom wouldn't have been working there when my Dad was. Can you believe it? She is also responsible for advising my Mom to make a career move into Compliance. I think Mary is one of those people who touches and influences lives without even knowing it. She is an amazing woman and one of our closest friends. How do I know all of this you ask? My Mom talked about it after our dinner with Mary and GPS.

Sleeping

So... I was going through all the pictures my Mom has downloaded and there are a surprising amount of me sleeping. Hmmm.... I thought I'd post this one since I'm holding Cat. I'm such an angel.

Golf Lessons by Ella Campbell

Welcome to Golf by Ella. That's right ladies and gentleman, you too can own the golf course just like me. Here are a few tips...

First and foremost, have someone escort you in style to the golf course. My ride of choice is the stroller. Room just for me, two cup holders, and three golf clubs. Mine is a convertible. Uh-huh, ride in style is my motto.

We're lucky to live within walking distance of this club. I'd recommend it. If I really get wound up late afternoon, I can put money on the fact that when my Dad gets home my Mom will want to get out. That's when I pull out my clubs and look cute and before I know it we're headed over here. This shot shows how beautiful it is here. Wish you were here!

Speaking of mind games,... you always need to remember to play the mind games on the course. It's not just a physical sport people. In this shot, my dad is going for a birdie but do you see how he is watching me walk away out of the side of his eye? I intimidated him and it's all he'll be able to think about while he is trying to get that ball in the hole. Double-click on this picture and you'll see the look on my face better.

Now, I'm not very proud of this shot because, well, yes- I am moving my ball. Here's the thing though- I'm only two so I get some allowances.

And when all else fails, I talk to the ball. Here I am yelling, "GO IN, GO IN!"

And finally, my form. Don't even try to copy it folks, you won't be able to. I learned this all on my own. But do get your own form. If you really need some help with that, give me a call. You can make the check out to Virginia 529 Plan.

Peach Picking

We went Peach Picking today. My Dad said he remembered when he was little picking peaches with his family. So I come by my great picking abilities honestly. We ate them right off the trees and then had a peach sundae.

Career Day?

We don't have career day at my school (borrrrrrring!) but my Grandpa did come in and teach us about the planets today. How cool am I? Everyone knew he was MY Grandpa, and they loved him. The three-year-olds even gave him hugs. So I'm sitting pretty at school right now since by association, I'm cool.

This is Stevie lining up the planets. Ms. Susanne has the sun and then Colin is bringing over the Earth (see, I did learn something).

These are my classmates hanging with Stevie and my teacher Ms. Brenda.

Well, in this picture, I'm not paying attention, but I am holding my planet. Thank you Grandpa Stevie!

Friends of Uncle Matt

Uncle Matt came up with his friends this weekend (picture). We had to say goodbye for a couple months to Uncle Matt but it is much better than saying goodbye for longer.
