Happy Thanksgiving! Ella had a great time today and I'd say her favorite part of Thanksgiving was marshmallows. Who can resist them on top of that yummy sweet potato casserole?

I have a lot of favorites, but today Ella told me she was a big girl so binks stay in bed. Niiiiiiiiiiiiice! You can't imagine the sad faces and crying that have been happening next to the crib lately. Here's the usual chain of events: She'll go in her room and reach in her crib for a bink that has, of late, disappeared. She's a smart litttle girl- she'll look for them, reach for them in the corners of the crib, then ask for them with a please thrown in for good measure. Usually after that it gets a little dicey. But today she was a big girl. I could see her going for them and said, "binks stay in bed" and Ella turned and said, "Ella big girl, binks in bed". So today my favorite is that sweet little quote.

Life of Ella... is fun!

Ella has been getting up at 7:30 lately. No matter what time she goes to bed (which is usually 7pm) she is up somewhere around 7am. We thought we would be daring this weekend and let her stay up until 8. She still awoke at 7am with her classic Moooooooooooooom (pause) y. I love walking into her room to see her up and looking over her crib siderail. Don't get me wrong, once the euphoria has passed I want her to come snuggle with us in bed, but no such luck. Baby Stella and friends all need to be fed and played with.
